Below are the questions people actually ask, with the answers. If yours isn't here, write to us: we read everything.
Premium removes the limits on chat, food scanning and AI recipe tweaks, and unlocks the full workouts, every name, and the AI summary of your diary. Two options: “Forever” (one-time, €39.99) or monthly (€6.99 with a 7-day trial). Without Premium you get every recipe and 3 chat messages a day; and everything to do with health and safety — the birth plan, the PDF for your midwife or doctor, the postpartum diary with the album, the hospital bag and the baby registry — stays free forever.
on iPhone This can happen after switching phones or reinstalling. Go to Settings → Subscription → “Restore purchases”: the purchase is tied to your Apple ID and comes back in one tap, at no charge.
on Android This can happen after switching phones or reinstalling. Go to Settings → Subscription → “Restore purchases”: the purchase is tied to the Google account you paid with and comes back in one tap. If it doesn't, check you're signed in to the Play Store with that same account.
on iPhone Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → mamma&me → Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal and nothing is charged. “Forever” has no renewals: it's simply yours.
on Android Subscriptions are managed by Google Play, not by us: open the Play Store → tap your photo top right → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → mamma&me → Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal and nothing is charged. “Forever” has no renewals: it's simply yours.
on iPhone Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → mamma&me → Allow notifications. If they were off, reopen the app and wait a minute: permission re-registers on its own.
on Android Check phone Settings → Apps → mamma&me → Notifications. If your phone has aggressive battery saving, exclude mamma&me from battery optimisation: it's the number-one reason notifications don't arrive on Android.
Yes, from Settings. Your country also drives units (kg/cm or lb/in) and local content like check-ups and clinics. The app speaks Italian, English and Spanish.
Your data is not the product: no ads, no selling to third parties, ever. It travels encrypted and you can delete everything anytime from Settings → Delete account.
Write to us with the button below and tell us what you were doing when it happened: the more detail, the faster we fix it. We read everything, truly.
No. mamma&me keeps you company and helps you stay organised, but every decision about your health and your baby's belongs to your midwife or doctor. For any clinical question, always turn to them.
The code travels inside the link — there's nothing to copy across. If tapping it does nothing, you'll still land on a page with an «Open the app» button. If you don't have the app yet, that button sends you to the store and puts the code on your clipboard on the way: after installing, the app finds it by itself on Android, and on iPhone offers to paste it in one tap. The code is also written out on that page, so you can always type it in by hand.
They're two buttons in Settings. “Take your data with you” hands you everything you've written in one file. “Delete account” wipes account and data for good, without going through us. If you no longer have the phone, the same request can be made from the /account-deletion page.
What you noted down, on one page: weight, blood pressure, mood, movements, and the questions you wrote for yourself. It's made on your phone the day before the appointment, and you show it, send it or print it. We don't store it anywhere, and it interprets nothing: the figures are yours, and reading them is your midwife's or doctor's job.
Yes. You say so at the start, or change it later in Settings. From then on growth, measurements, memories and album stay separate for each baby: when you save a memory the app asks whose it is, and in the book each of them has their own pages.
We reply within a few days. If something in the app went wrong, tell us what you were doing when it happened: it saves us a round of questions.

there is someone on the other side
We never give medical advice — not even by email. For any question about your health or your baby's, your midwife or doctor is the person to ask. If it's urgent, call your emergency number.
