The journey

One app that changes with you.

All the pregnancy tools are there from day one. With the birth they close, and the baby's tools arrive. What you wrote inside is never deleted.

You've just found out

The weeks, told one at a time.

  • Growth, week by weekA watercolour for every week, how big your baby is and which fruit or vegetable that's as big as.
  • Exams & visitsWhat to book and when, with each report saved inside the right visit.
  • The album and today's cardFrom week 4, an idea a day for a photo or a memory. It stays yours, after the birth too.
You're halfway there

Your diary becomes the PDF for your doctor.

  • The diary and the PDF for your doctorSymptoms, mood, weight and blood pressure; before your appointment, your last 30 days on one page to show, send or print. Free.
  • “Am I overreacting?”When you don't know whether to call: what happens when you get there, what to say on the phone, and when not to wait until tomorrow.
  • Kicks and contractionsCounted with a tap. Before week 37, regular contractions are a reason to call.
The baby is here

Feeds, nappies, sleep and your newborn's growth, even at 3 a.m.

  • Feeds, sleep, nappiesLogged as they happen, with night mode.
  • Growth and vaccinationsWeight, length and head on the WHO curves, the way your paediatrician reads them, and your country's vaccination schedule.
  • Warning signsAfter the birth everyone looks at the baby: these are the signs that are about you.
The first year

The firsts, with the photo and the date.

  • The firstsFirst smile, first tooth, first steps, inside the baby book.
  • Your body after birthBody and mood day by day, and something concrete to show at your check-up. After a C-section, the first 12 weeks of recovery.
  • LullabiesSixteen of them, and they keep playing with the screen off.

Got a question right now? Try it here.

Is it safe in pregnancy?

174 foods, each with its answer and the reason why: from sushi to cured ham, from coffee to tiramisu. In the app there are medicines and cosmetics too, and after the birth the answers switch to breastfeeding.

When is the baby due?

Example at 12 weeks: enter your date —

It's an estimate: 280 days from the first day of your last period, adjusted for your cycle length (Naegele's rule). Your scan confirms the date. How it's worked out

Before you download one

How to choose a pregnancy app.

Six questions to ask any app before you trust it with nine months. Under each, how mamma&me answers.

Can you see where the answers come from?

Every health answer points to its source: the WHO, NICE, ACOG, EFSA, the NHS and Italy's ISS. Deadlines, tests and vaccine schedules also carry the date they were checked.

Does it diagnose you?

It shouldn't, and mamma&me never does: it gives general information and tells you when it's time to call your midwife or doctor, not what you have.

Does it show you ads?

No ads, and your data is not for sale. A pregnancy is not an audience to sell.

Does what you write stay yours?

Your history never ends up behind a paywall. You can take your data away in a file whenever you like, and delete your account.

Does it know your country?

Vaccinations, tests, deadlines and the emergency number follow your country: the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, the Netherlands and Norway.

Does it make you anxious?

No streaks to keep, no badges to collect. A diary gets written when you feel like it.
