Fruit
Rare, but serious if it happens
Ready-cut fruit (fruit salad, melon, pineapple in tubs) can pick up listeria. Always keep it in the fridge, eat it before the use-by date and do not leave it out of the fridge for more than 2 hours. Fruit you wash and cut yourself just before eating is safer.
You can eat this again while breastfeeding: the pregnancy-specific risks (listeria, toxoplasmosis, salmonella) no longer apply after birth. Keep normal food hygiene.
